FAA Part 107 Licensing
Starting in August of 2016, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) now requires all commercial UAS operators (drone pilots) to obtain a license in order to serve customers.
In order to obtain a license, operators must pass a Part 107 Exam. The Exam consists of 60 multiple choice questions consisting of topics such as safety, operating procedure, and flight regulations.
Luckily, since there is such a large demand for UAS operators, passing this exam and obtaining your Part 107 license has become streamlined with the use of online resources to assist you in training.
We recommend PilotInstitute.
